More pouches...

I realized after my last post that it could be a poor reflection on me to put up a bunch of half-finished stuff (especially after not posting for months and months!) So here are a couple of finished products.

I get more excited about new ideas and want to post them before they're done. And once I finish, I guess I forget! Here's another pouch in the works...

Felt Pouches

Felt pouches are really fun to make! Here is one with a sting ray that I'm making for my niece.


This one is small and will be useful to keep my earbud wires from tangling.


These are going to button in the back. I think they could be a fancy envelope for a card or a place to keep the ipod!

On my desk...

This is a zipper bag in progress for my almost 3 year old, Wesley. He got really excited about a yellow zipper when we went to the fabric store the other day. So, I'm just trying to cater to his whims here...yellow felt, elephant, crocodile. I hope he likes it.


I have been having fun drawing in my backyard. I bought a bunch of colored pens and a pad of paper that's way too long for my scanner.


I hope to do a better job photographing them later. Maybe I'll get a sunny day for better lighting soon.

And yes, that's a silk screen in the background. Out from under the bed. Ready to go. Let's see what happens...wish me luck!
